Bridge ownership
A July 2026 federal permit authorizes Cameron County to own and operate B&M, and the county's announcement described the acquisition as still completing — the acquisition was not yet confirmed complete. Do not assume the county's toll table applies to B&M.
The old rail bridge
Rail service over the old downtown B&M rail bridge ended in 2015 when West Rail opened; what became of the structure afterwards is not documented.
