The Free Trade bridge at Los Indios is the western Brownsville-area crossing: cars 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., cargo on weekday-heavy schedules, and Cameron County's home for oversize, overweight and transmigrante movements plus a USDA plant inspection station.
Southbound (into Mexico) — Cameron County bridge system (checked 29 August 2026): car, pickup or motorcycle US$5, or US$4.75 with the AVI account · trucks US$11–US$25 by axle count (AVI slightly less) · extra axles US$3 passenger / US$3.50 commercial. The county table also lists US$1 pedestrian and bicycle and US$10 bus/RV classes — system-wide prices that do not by themselves establish those modes at this bridge.
