Compare the crossings

Three bridges cross from greater McAllen into Reynosa, and the choice is mostly about hours and cargo: McAllen–Hidalgo runs 24 hours for cars and walkers; Anzalduas closes at 10 p.m. and sends only empty trucks southbound; Pharr is the cargo bridge, with narrow northbound car windows.

The waits on this board cover traffic entering the United States, reported by CBP. Mexico-bound waits are not reported on this site yet.

In 2025 the Hidalgo customs port — all three bridges — handled about 4.0 million US-bound personal vehicles, 2.6 million pedestrians and 719,000 trucks (port-level BTS data).
