El Paso Union Pacific international rail bridge

About this crossing

The second of El Paso's two international rail bridges crosses east of Paso del Norte: Union Pacific's line toward Tucson, Fort Worth and San Antonio, interchanging with Ferromex in Ciudad Juárez. A separate structure from the BNSF bridge to the west — and, like it, freight only, with no traveller wait times. Cross at Paso del Norte, BOTA, Stanton or Ysleta.

Quick answers

Can I cross here by car, on foot, or by train?

No. This is freight infrastructure — Union Pacific interchanging with Ferromex — with no public passenger service of any kind. El Paso's traveller crossings are Paso del Norte, BOTA, Stanton and Ysleta. Never approach a rail line or yard to attempt a crossing.
