An active freight-rail bridge crosses the border just west of Paso del Norte — BNSF's line toward Albuquerque, interchanging with Ferromex in Ciudad Juárez. It is one of El Paso's two international rail bridges (Union Pacific's crosses to the east), and it is not a road or pedestrian crossing: no traveller wait times exist. Cross at Paso del Norte, BOTA, Stanton or Ysleta.
