The bridge
The 1987 road bridge, about 791 feet, is owned on the U.S. side by TxDOT, joining US 67 with Ojinaga's roads toward Mexico 16. A separate rail bridge crosses nearby — rebuilt after a 2008 fire but not confirmed operational, with no traveller access.

The port record says 24 hours for its car and pedestrian operation. Cargo staffing is separate — it showed closed at the 29 August 2026 check and no confirmed schedule exists, so carriers should call 432-229-3349.
Does Presidio have SENTRI or Ready Lane?
No — CBP reports only General waits at Presidio, for cars, pedestrians and trucks alike. SENTRI and Ready car waits are reported at the El Paso bridges — Paso del Norte and Ysleta — and at Del Rio instead.
Is the Presidio rail bridge open?
Not confirmed. The rail bridge was rebuilt after a 2008 fire, but current reporting says a CBP rail-inspection facility must still be completed before trains resume — and it has never been a traveller route.
