About this crossing
Ysleta–Zaragoza is east El Paso's 24-hour bridge into Juárez's Zaragoza district, carrying cars, pedestrians and the corridor's longest cargo schedule: weekdays 6 a.m. to midnight, Saturday to 2 p.m., closed Sunday.

SENTRI and Ready Lane
CBP reports SENTRI, Ready and General car waits and a General pedestrian wait; trucks get General and FAST. Chihuahua's Línea Exprés serves SENTRI and Global Entry holders with authorized vehicles on the Zaragoza approach.
The bridge
A crossing since 1938, rebuilt in 1955, with the current paired structures dating to 1990 — the City of El Paso manages the U.S. side and Chihuahua's bridge authority the Mexican toll operation.
Busy times
Ysleta has its own federal port code: in 2025 it handled about 3.8 million US-bound personal vehicles, 2.2 million pedestrians and 642,000 trucks. October led for cars and trucks.

For cars and pedestrians, yes. Cargo runs weekdays 6 a.m. to midnight and Saturday to 2 p.m., closed Sunday. Individual lanes keep their own staffing — at the 29 August 2026 check the General car lane was closed while SENTRI and Ready reported waits — so go by the live states above.
Does Ysleta have a reliable southbound live wait?
Not yet. Chihuahua's Zaragoza estimate page warns it is under maintenance and shows no observation time, and TTI's public border-wait system was likewise down when checked, so neither southbound figure is published.
Which El Paso-area bridge should trucks use?
Ysleta runs the corridor's longest cargo schedule — weekdays 6 a.m. to midnight and Saturday to 2 p.m. BOTA is the toll-free option, weekdays 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tornillo takes weekday cargo 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
