The U.S. inspection station at 405 Tecate Road was built in 1933–34 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places; the facilities were expanded in 2005. The U.S. approach is SR-188. A separate rail line crosses at Division, near Campo east of town — freight infrastructure with no traveller access and no current through service in the sources.
