About this crossing

Camino Real — Eagle Pass Bridge II — is open 24 hours for passenger vehicles, with Mexico-bound cargo 8 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. on weekdays and to 2 p.m. Saturday. The city publishes no Sunday cargo hours.

Tolls

Southbound (into Mexico) — the same City of Eagle Pass tariff as Bridge I, effective 1 May 2026 (checked 29 August 2026): car or pickup US$4 Express Card / US$5 cash / MX$110 · motorcycle (attended lane) US$4 / US$5 / MX$110 · two-axle bus or truck US$13 / US$20 / MX$440 · four-axle truck US$26 / US$40 / MX$880 · five-axle US$32.50 / US$50 / MX$1,100 · six-axle US$39 / US$60 / MX$1,320. The printed three-axle rate (US$50 both columns / MX$1,100) is internally anomalous against the four-axle row — confirm with the bridge office at 830-773-2622 before relying on it. The Express Card office is here at Bridge II, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

The bridge

Four inbound lanes (including a SENTRI lane), two outbound, two six-foot sidewalks and a 25-foot wide-load lane, at 500 South Monroe; the Mexican approach is Libramiento Fausto Martínez. The corridor's only rail crossing is Union Pacific's separate bridge, with no traveller access; a June 2025 permit authorizes a second Camino Real span, unbuilt and conditional.

Quick answers

Is Camino Real Bridge II open 24 hours?

For passenger vehicles, yes. Mexico-bound cargo keeps its own schedule — 8 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. weekdays, to 2 p.m. Saturday, with Sunday unconfirmed — and lane programs open and close within the day, so check the live states above.

Does Camino Real have SENTRI and FAST?

CBP reports SENTRI alongside General car waits and includes FAST and Ready lane status. Check the current lane status before choosing one. The Express Card is a toll account; it does not grant SENTRI, FAST or Ready Lane eligibility.

Can pedestrians use Camino Real Bridge II?

The bridge carries two six-foot sidewalks, but CBP publishes no pedestrian wait here, so a walker gets no live number on this page. Downtown, Bridge I is the established walking crossing with published walkways — open to 10:45 p.m., with its pedestrian rate printed in the shared city tariff.
