Ferry Point runs directly between downtown Calais and downtown St. Stephen and serves passenger, pedestrian and bicycle traffic. International Avenue is the bypass-style crossing southwest of downtown; it handles the corridor’s commercial trucks and has a duty-free shop. Its old dedicated NEXUS schedule is not confirmed in current agency records.

NEXUS enrolment in Calais

CBP’s Calais Enrollment Center is at 3 Customs Street. It holds NEXUS interviews Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; call the port and use extension 232 before travelling for an appointment.

The third bridge: Milltown

Calais and St. Stephen also share a third, smaller crossing at Milltown, upstream of Ferry Point and International Avenue. CBP lists it with 8:00 am–4:00 pm hours and publishes a U.S.-bound reading; there is no Canada-bound reading.
