Yes. CBP’s live wait-time feed lists Houlton as open 24 hours a day. That published schedule does not rule out a temporary closure, incident or weather restriction, so check the official boards before making a time-sensitive trip.
CBSA publishes a dedicated lane into Canada from 3:00 to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday except holidays, and into the United States from 7:00 to 10:00 am Monday to Friday, Eastern time. No weekend NEXUS hours are published, so members then use the regular lane.
The crossing is where Interstate 95 reaches its northern terminus at the Canadian border. New Brunswick Route 95 continues to the Trans-Canada Highway, Route 2, at Woodstock. CBP names the U.S. port Houlton, Maine (0106), while CBSA calls the Canadian office Woodstock Road in Belleville, New Brunswick; both names describe this road crossing.
CBP and CBSA opened a joint NEXUS/FAST enrolment centre in Houlton on 10 February 2023. It takes interview appointments on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; those are enrolment-centre hours, not crossing-lane hours.
For passenger processing, call CBP Houlton on (207) 532-2131 ext. 217; for commercial processing, use extension 237. CBSA currently publishes two Border Information Service numbers: its dedicated contact page lists 1-800-461-9999 within Canada and the United States, while its Directory landing page lists 1-800-959-2036.
